Terrance was born to Carroll (Lewis) Choice and Jack Choice on October 4, 1967 in Denver CO. at St. Joseph hospital and was the fourth of six children – two sisters –Andrea and Alicia and three brothers -Donald, Darrin and Brandon. Terrance grew up in Denver and Littleton, Colorado attending public schools. In Littleton, he along with all of his brothers played football for the Littleton Leopards where he was an outstanding running back. Terrance, along with his Dad and two brothers moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1981 where, in 1986, he graduated from Central High School. Not only was Terry a very popular student at Central High, he was also a track star running the 400, 800 and cross country winning several first place ribbons and receiving several citations, awards and newspaper articles regarding his athletic abilities. In addition, Terrance excelled academically in high school and proved to be highly industrious and responsible. He loved kids and it was not uncommon to see him braiding the hair of his girl children that he had later in life as well as the children of his friends and other family members. Terrance loved to joke and really loved the military, cars (fast), his dogs (Pit Bulls and English Bull Dogs), the Denver Broncos, adult cartoons and music where in high school he was a deejay. Terry loved and was a good cook, his specialty being spaghetti. Terrance joined the U.S. Army in 1987 to which he dedicated his life. Terrance's best friend, Larry, was his confidant and 4th brother. Along with his military accomplishments Terrance was a 33 degree Mason with Grandmaster Rites, an Eastern Star as well as a Little-league coach of Football and Baseball. Terrance moved back to Colorado in February 2013 and resided in Colorado Springs. Where he worked at the VA Cherry Creek Branch in Denver. Those left to cherish Terrance's memory are his spouse, Shamika Lewis, Beaumont, TX; his beautiful children, Ashlyn, Jessica, Taylor, Kiandre, Ashley, Terrance, Jr., Aiden, Alyssa, LaPortia, Desert Storm, Kiana, Angelina and Nicholas; two wonderful grandchildren, Lamont and Justice; his parents, Carroll (Michael Jackson) Choice, his dad Jack (Edwyna) Choice of Denver, CO; five siblings Andrea (Robert Fear) Short of Indianapolis, IN, Alicia (Willie) Jackson of Denver, CO, Don (Michelle) Lewis of Los Angeles, CA, Darrin Choice of Los Angeles, CA, Brandon (Deborah) Choice of Lakeworth, FL; step siblings – Veronica (J.P.) Terrance was unique in a thousand ways. He was both giving and loving… we'll miss him all our days. He knew sorrow in great measure but when he heard death coming he called out Lord, I'm here. He is now in that celestial place devoid of pain and crying but please forgive us Lord for sinning, for wishing he was here for it is hard to give up someone who we all loved so dear. Today he knows that there is eternal life after earthy life and peace in the midst of suffering. Yes, Terrance was different. He was unique in a thousand ways, he was a loving and giving spirit and we'll miss him all our days.
