The pages of this book began for Frederic Walker, when he was born on March 4, 1953, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Fred Hudale Walker and Vivian Winton Walker. He was the seventh child born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, John, Donald, Edward, Clifford, Dwight, William and his sisters, Mertie, Helen, Curley, Cynthia, Denise and Tina. As a child, he was talkative and always explained everything. He was creative and analytical. He liked pretending that he was superman. A fond memory was that of Frederic wanting to see if cats really had nine lives. He repeatedly dropped a cat off the roof, counting each drop but he was stopped by his mother before the ninth drop. Frederic received his formal education in Denver where he graduated from East High School in 1971. On October 11, 1971, he enlisted in the United States Navy. While serving his country, he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal. He was stationed on the USS Enterprise. He served with honor and distinction and was honorably discharged. Frederic was the proud father of three beautiful children, Jaa, Roslyn and Peggy. They all shared many happy and precious moments together. A man of faith and belief in the Lord, Frederic attended Progressive Church of God In Christ with many of his family members. He truly enjoyed his walk with the Lord and fellowship shared with the church family. Frederic was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, visiting family and friends. He was the type of man who didn't mind lending a helping hand to others. His closest friend was his sister, Tina, who he affectionately called "Ting Ting." He also shared a special closeness with his companion, Mary. They too shared many happy and memorable moments together. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man who had a smile that would light any room he entered. To know Frederic was to love him. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred H. Walker; a brother, Clifford Walker; and a sister, Denise V. Walker. Frederic Walker departed this life on October 29, 2013, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include a son, Jaa' A. Kimble; two daughters, Roslyn M. Kimble and Peggy J. Kimble all of Denver; his mother, Vivian Walker of Aurora; five brothers, John (Betty) Smith of Milpitas, California, Donald W. (Brenda) Poledor, Woodbridge, VA, Edward M.
