Warren Johnson

Warren Hillard Johnson, Sr. was born on July 10, 1944, in Pueblo, Colorado to his parents Joseph C. Johnson and Marion Wadsworth Johnson. He was the third child born in the family. He was raised surrounded his brothers, Joseph, Gary, and his sisters, Margaret, Patricia, Ida, Julia, and Myrtle. He received his early education in Pueblo, where he graduated from Centennial High School. He furthered his education by attending Technical Schools and studying Foreign Language. On July 10, 1963, Warren enlisted in the United States Army. While serving his country, he was awarded numerous Awards and Citations for his meritorious service. He served with honor and distinction and was honorably discharged. Warren united in holy matrimony to the former Doris Lindner in Stuttgart, Germany. To this union, Warren, Jr., Marion and Tanja were born. With this union, he became the stepfather of George, Harald, and Liana. He was later blessed with his grandchildren, Steven, Marvin, Damion, Willow, Achley, Blaig, Dwaine, Jennifer, Stefanie and Marcel who were an additional source of joy and pride in his life. By profession, Warren was an Information Intelligence Operations Manager for a company located in Stuttgart, Germany. He was respected for being knowledgeable as well as being hardworking and dedicated. He performed his duties with a spirit of precision and excellence Warren was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled in his free time, he enjoyed working for himself with his computer business. He also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man. To know Warren was to love him. Warren was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Johnson, his father, Joseph C. Johnson, Sr., and his brother, Joseph C. Johnson, Jr. Warren H. Johnson, Sr. departed this life on April 2, 2014, in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his wife, Doris Johnson; 3 sons, Warren H. (Anna) Johnson, Jr., George (Simona) Lindner, Harald Lindner; 3 daughters, Tanja Johnson, Marion Johnson, and Liana (Bruno) Nechier all of Asperg, Germany; 4 brothers, Gary M. (Fannie) Johnson, Aurora, Bryant Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Stephen Johnson all of Pueblo, CO; 5 sisters, Margaret Johnson Haynes, Patricia (John) Clark, both of Los Angeles, CA, Ida (Henry) Taylor, Carson, CA, Julia (David) Benson, Greer, SC, Myrtle Johnson, Cleveland, OH, Darlene Johnson (Joe) Romero, Pueblo, CO; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.
