As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully. She made things precious by her touch; her selfless love lives on in each of us. The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none. Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end. Vivian Marie Epps was born on November 20, 1933, in Omaha, Nebraska to her parents, Daniel Hope and Edith Donaldson Hope. She was the third child born in the family. She was raised surrounded by her brother, Daniel and her sisters, Darlene, Gloria, and Shirley. She received her early education by attending the St. Benedict Catholic School and Technical High School both in Omaha. She is remembered as being a member of the Omaha Elks Drum and Bugle Corp and a Majorette. She was also a Model for the Brandies Department Store in Omaha. By profession, Vivian was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance Company as a Computer Operator. She was hard-working, dedicated, diligent in her duties and out spoken but fair. She often attended the House of Joy Miracle and Deliverance Church when she lived in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. Vivian was a fun loving woman, who enjoyed life and those she encircled. In her free time, she enjoyed visits to the Hills and to Las Vegas, as well as the quality time shared with family and friends.
