Tyrone K. Power was born on February 28, 1955, to his parents, Eugene Kenneth Power and Melva Beatrice Billingsley Power in Hayward, California. He was the third child born in the family. He was raised surround by his brothers, Timothy, Jeffery and Michael. They all shared many happy and memorable moments together while in their youth. Tyrone completed his formal education by graduating from high school when the family relocated to Oklahoma. He furthered his education by completing two years of college. He enlisted in the United States Army. While serving his country, Tyrone was stationed in Germany. He served with honor and distinction and was honorably discharged. Tyrone united in holy matrimony to Cathern Power. The couple first met when they both lived in Baltimore, Maryland. To this union, two daughters, Jennifer and Jessica were born. On December 30, 1986, he wed Diane Power in Denver, Colorado. To this union, James Alex was born. The family shared many happy and precious moments together. Diane preceded him in death in 2013. By profession, Tyrone was a Truck Driver by profession. He was hardworking, dedicated, and performed his duties with precision and excellence. A man of faith and belief in the Lord, Tyrone has been a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Denver, Colorado for over twenty eight years. He truly believed in the power of prayer and that everyone needed to have the right relationship with the lord. Tyrone will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this one of a kind guy. To know Tyrone was to love him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Melva Power; and two of his brothers, Jeffery Power and Michael Power, To plant a seed in one's heart...To root it in love... To nourish it with time spent together... Yields a blossom that will flourish forever. Tyrone K. Power departed this life on July 7, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include two sons, James A. Power and Julian Montoya both of Denver; two daughters, Jessica Power and Jennifer Power both of Baltimore, Maryland; his devoted in-laws, Roger and Mary Montoya of Denver and a host of other relatives and many friends.
