Tripina Davis

February 12, 1967 — January 25, 2017

It all started on the island of Buntok-Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. on February 12, 1967 to Julianus Ludim Misal and Lies Sudiyah, Tripina was the 3rd child of 6 siblings born to this union. She had-3 brothers, and 2 sisters, thus being named Tripina. The family later uprooted and moved to Chicata, Indonesia, where she attended primary and secondary school. She enjoyed sports; she loved to run, and play soccer with her brothers and sisters. Tripina later obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. After graduation, she worked at the Italian Trade Commission in Chicata, Indonesia, where she focused on sales, promotional items, and travelling. After completing her stint with the Italian Trade Commission, Tripina embraced the challenge of pursuing her dream of living in the United States of America. After arriving in the USA in 2001, Tripina worked in dietary services, then later as a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, at Shalom Park nursing home. In 2003, she met the man of her dreams, Robert Davis, and after a year of courtship, in June of 2004, they had the princess of their dreams, Kasih Agatha Davis. In December of 2008, Tripina returned to Indonesia with Robert and Kasih to have their wedding blessed by her pastor, to renew their wedding vowels, and to have their matrimony witnessed by her family and loved ones. Tripina was very passionate in planning her wedding destination to include visits to Bali and Chicata in Indonesia. Tripina was very adventurous. She loved to travel, especially going to the mountains and spend time with her family and friends. In her free time, she would often watch “Austin and Allie” or “Grace and Frankie” on Netflix. Tripina loved entertainment, going to parks, and always had time to go to her favorite restaurant, Tripina was a servant of God, with a spirit to serve. She always believed in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to heal and save. She accepted Christ as her savior, and believed she could do all things through Christ, who strengthens her. Tripina was caring and sharing person with A HEART AS BIG AS AN OCEAN. Professionally and personally, Tripina was a nurse and caregiver, and she would do anything to make you smile. She provided compassionate care to her residents while providing nursing service. Her body passed on but her soul and spirit lives. So, we celebrate her life and eternal life granted by the "King." Tripina departed from our presence to heaven’s gain on January 25, 2018, at approximately 8:45 p.m. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert Davis; her daughter, Kasih Davis; her step children, Akil and Kamal Davis; grandchildren, Keyanna Montoya, Kendyl Davis, Tatum Davis, Emmitt Davis; her mother Lies Sudiyah; father, Julianus Ludim Misal; three brothers; and two sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
