Trayvon Marcellas Cathren of Denver, CO was born August 18, 1981 in Los Angeles CA to his mother Shirley Jackson and Father Kirk Cathren. Trayvon was the youngest child to his mother Shirley Jackson and the oldest child to his father Kirk Cathren.
At a very young age, Trayvon accepted Christ as his savior. He was educated through Los Angeles Unified School District, beginning with attending Manchester Elementary and Hooper Elementary. He attended junior high school at John Muir Jr High School and would then attend high school at Crenshaw High School where he became a member of the band and graduated. Tray enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Trayvon then met Dannisha Barber in Los Angeles, CA. They then relocated to Denver, CO and were joined in holy matrimony. To this union, Tray’von Cathren, Nya’jai Cathren, Angel Cathren (preceded in death) and Semajai Cathren. Trayvon and Dannisha later parted their ways.
Trayvon later studied and earned his commercial driver license he then became a professional driver for RTD and later waste management.
Trayvon would later meet Gina Campbell. And would be blessed to join her family with her children Aamyah and Aamonie Campbell. Trayvon and Gina were then blessed with Aamirrah and Aamina Cathren. They would then relocate to Des Moines, Iowa.
Trayvon enjoyed his career and took pride in it. He never made an excuse to get around working and would always make the extra effort. During his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, more importantly, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Preceding Trayvon in death are his grandparents Isaac Jones Sr, Frances Ray Jones, Annie Mae Drver, Charles Cathern-Sims. His aunt Cheryl Cathren. His uncles Ralph Cathren, Darryl Cathren and great uncle Robert jones.
Trayvon leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Dannisha Barber Five Kids Tray’von Cathren, Nya’jai Cathren, Semajai Cathren, Aamirrah Cathren, Aamina Cathren. Mother Shirley Jackson. Father kirk cathren. Brothers Demondrae miles, Charles perkins. Sisters Jashawn washington, Donna Thomas, Devonna Thomas, Veronica Campbell.
