Tony Rounsville

June 25, 1954 — July 17, 2021

Denver, CO

Tony “Tone Tone” Rounsville, also known as Slim, was born on June 25, 1954 to his parents Virginia Lee McDonald and Henry Clay Rounsville. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas at University Hospital and grew up surrounded by his siblings Pattie, Joyce, and Jenice.

The family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan shortly after his birth. Tony was a happy go lucky child who had an appreciation for life. He attended primary school in the Grand Rapids Public School system. The family relocated to St. Louis, where continued his education, gaining his high school equivalent diploma. Tony went on to join the United States Army where he served his county. Through his travels of being in the Army, he decided to settle in Denver, Colorado where he planted his roots and raised his two loving children; Brandy Stevenson and Alexis Stevenson. Tony worked hard and diligently provided   for his family. Family was his passion and he wanted to see his children succeed in every area.

During his free time, Tony enjoyed listening to music, socializing, and spending time with his family. He was gifted to be able to play the guitar which he loved to share with his family and friends. Tony was a very generous person who never met a stranger, or someone that he did not want to help. Tony would give the very shirt off of his back to anyone in need.
