Tony Huguley

December 26, 1958 — June 8, 2019

Tony Kirk Huguley was born December 25, 1958 in Denver Colorado to Mr. Ernest and Maggie Lee Huguley. He was the third child born into the great family. His siblings Ernest Huguley, James Earl Huguley, Nathaniel Huguley, Bernice Huguley and Denise Huguley; remember their brother's bodacious smile and character.

As a child he loved to play basketball and go swimming at Curtis park. He had many friends there and could not wait to wake up and hit the park. He and his friends would play games of pool at cutis park center and also shoot dice in the back. He loved the Curtis park rec center. He grew up right on the corner of 29th Stout St.

Tony always told stories about how he loved going fishing with his father and having barbeques in the backyard with his family.

He attended Bethel Holiness Church every Sunday with his family, this is where Tony's faith in God and love for Christ began to flourish and mature.
He attended Cole middle where he met his first love Delphine Williams. They hung out and went to parties and later had a beautiful baby girl Mia'chanel Diona Williams. They never married but still remain close friends.

He loved his daughter he gave her the name Mia, and told her it meant (mine)in Spanish. He was so proud of her name that he told everyone he met even after Mia got older which embarrassed her but showed her just how much she was loved.

Tony had five grandchildren Cortez Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Amia Coleman, Antez Coleman, Jamos Richardson and seven great-grandchildren Cartel Coleman, Cherish Coleman, Cashmere Reed, Cassidy reed. Jasiah Coleman, (twins) Nyloh Coleman, Nohlan Coleman, who loved their grand-father and could not wait to be in his presence. No one ever thought that it could have been the fact that he would sneak them money and say don't tell your momma which didn't work because they would pull it out at home and show off what pawpaw did.
He had a passion for fixing cars at a young age. He became self-employed. He started his own business called spot and steal. He would find abandoned cars and tow them to the junk yard. He loved to brag on how much money he made daily.

In his spare time, he loved to hang on 34th and Downing with his favorite cousin Willie D and holla at the ladies. He loved his favorite beverage McCormick's Gin. He also loved to hang out with his best friends Perry Tucker, Christopher Lexis and Wayne Mingo. He was also known as the family babysitter. He would keep his nieces, nephews and cousins kids at the drop of a hat not to mention at no charge.
He will be missed he was always a shoulder to cry on and would give the shirt off his back to anyone he loved. He was very giving and a shelter for the homeless. He was a great man with a big heart which is why we called him "Big Boy".

Tony Kirk Huguley passed away peacefully June 8, 2019 at home. He will be deeply missed but always kept alive through the hearts of those who are left to cherish his memory. Tony is survived by his daughter Mia'chanel Williams, two step daughter's Jean and Angel Williams, his sister, Bernice Huguley and many grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
