Thomas William McBride, II affectionately called "Lucky" by family and friends was born on January 1, 1955, in Massillon, Ohio to his parents, Thomas W. McBride, I and Dorothy A. Dorsey McBride. He was the first born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, Mark, David and his sister, Leila. As a child, he enjoyed listening to music and being surrounded by his family. Thomas received his formal education in Denver. He graduated from Littleton High School in 1975. He met Marie Thomas; they exchanged vows in Denver, Colorado on May 3, 1982. To this union, two beautiful children Thomas, III and Elizabeth were born. He was later blessed with his grandchildren, Jaidyn, LeNaia, Zielle, and Heavenly who were an additional source of joy and pride in his life. Thomas was employed as a Pipe Fitter for University of Colorado Hospital; and he was a supervisor for the Environmental Services moving crew at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He was hardworking, dependable and respected by his co-workers and supervisors. A man of faith and belief in the Lord, Thomas was a member of Christ in the City Temple of Worship. He truly enjoyed sharing with his church family. Thomas was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he played the Bass with his band and will be remembered for his talent and ability. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. His closest friend, Keith Wedington will miss the comraderies' they shared together and the fact that he was a true and genuine friend. He was a great father, a good man and a man who never met a stranger. To know Thomas was to love him. Thomas William McBride, II departed this life on July 22, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his father, Thomas William McBride, I; his mother, Dorothy A. McBride both of Littleton; his son, Thomas W. (Brandy) McBride; his daughter, Elizabeth Y. McBride; his brother, Mark W. McBride; his sister, Leila A. Hill all of Denver; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
