Thomas Hill

Thomas James Hill, also known as "TJ", was born on June 6, 1933 in Magnolia, Arkansas, his parents, Roberdia and Elige Hill, who have both preceded him in death. He was surrounded by His loving brothers and sisters; John (Jessie) Hill and Essie B. (Marvin) Turner and seven that preceded him in death, Erma Kennon, Wilson "Buddy" Hill, Earl Hill, Annie B. Hill Readie B. Coleman, Alvin "Cookie" Hill, Joyce Stephen.

Thomas received his education through the Magnolia, Arkansas school system. He was known as being a hard-dedicated worker in a variety of services. These services included over 40 years of service at the Gates Rubber Company, an independent lawn service, and his love of working on cars. Anything he set his mind to he accomplished, he was a dedicated Christian and would attend New Hope Baptist church as often as possible.

He was affectionately called by his loved ones as Dad, Uncle TJ and Gramps by his family and those that cared for him in his later years. Some of the most memorable memories that will forever be in are hearts of him are traveling for family vacations, fishing with loved ones, his enjoyment of watching sports, his heart warming laughter, his sense of humor, retelling stories from his past, his gentle soul and his love for eating cornbread.

He leaves to cherish his memory his companion Mary Hill, children Larry Hill (California), Lois Barnett (Denver, CO), Sharon Hill (Denver, CO), Charlotte Ross (Waterloo, IA) Pamela Sutton (Denver, CO). He is preceded in death by, Thomas Hill, Jr. (Denver, CO). A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Thomas entered in the hands of the Lord on July 16, 2019 in Denver, CO. He will be terribly missed by his family and friends. He will continue to be honored through the life lesson that he has bestowed on each of us and the memories he has forever etched in each of our hearts.
