He was raised surrounded by his brothers, Eddie, Avery and his sisters, Linda and Roma. "Reggie" as he was affectionately called by family and friends was a nature lover. He loved to fish and spend time with friends and was known to lend a helping hand when needed. The family eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado and Reggie finished his early education when he graduated from Manual High School. While in school, he excelled academically. On January 4, 1970, Reggie enlisted in the United States Army. While serving his country, he was awarded an National Defense Service Medal and an Armed Force Commendation Medal. He served with honor and distinction and was honorably discharged. By profession, Reggie was a Printer. He was employed by the United States Government and assigned to Lowry Air Force Base. He was hard working, meticulous and performed his duties with pride and excellence. He was a fun loving man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he could be found watching football and golf. He loved the Broncos and enjoyed watching Tiger Woods but he also was an overall sports enthusiast and kept up with all types of sports. His closest friends, Herman Mitchell and Vernon Woolfolk will miss the camaraderie they all shared together and the fact that he was a true and genuine friend, who was generous and had a heart of gold. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man who would always say, "I am the Real Deal." To know Reggie was to love him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 Theodore R.
