Terrance Thomas affectionately called "T-Bone or TRon" by family and friends was born on August 15, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to his parents, Arthur Brown and Alfreda Z. Thomas. He was the seventh child born in the family. He had three brothers, Everett, Ron, William "Elvis" and three sisters, Wallicia, Brenda, and LaJuana. Terrance received his formal education in Denver, where he was an academic scholar always maintaining a high GPA. He graduated from East High School. Terrance was faced with many challenges in life but he never let them deter him from enjoying life. Terrance accepted the Lord as his personal savior as a child. He was a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Denver, Colorado and was a member of Warren Memorial Church in Ardmore, OK. Terrance was a man who didn't mind lending a helping hand to his neighbors whether it was shoveling snow or mowing lawns. He was particularly concerned about the elderly and frequently called just to check on them. Terrance never had children but his nieces and nephews were near and dear to him. He often took them to wrestling matches, skating, swimming at Congress Park, and just spending quality time with them. He loved life and those he encircled. He also enjoyed dancing, playing dominoes, attending parades, watching football games and enjoyed traveling out of state to watch the football games played by his Nephew. He was always proud of all of his nieces and nephews and their accomplishments, and always told them that they should be excited that they were able to do certain things, because he never got the opportunity to do so. He was excited about how Colorado was growing and expanding and he loved visiting sites all around the state. His greatest joy in life was his family. He had many colloquial phrases to include "Hey ugly; is the food ready?" who all over there? Just to name a few. He absolutely loved Pepsi, and when he was told to drink water; he would always say... "he couldn't because it made his throat hurt." He was a caring brother, uncle and friend always asking out of concern about everyone. Whenever, he rode in any bodies car, the question was always the same. How much gas do you have? And when was the last time you changed the oil? He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man who leaves a void that can never be filled. To know "TBone" was to love him. Terrance was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Brown and Alfreda Thomas; his sister: LaJuana; his brother, Everett. Terrance Thomas departed this life on January 1, 2016, in Denver, Colorado.
