Taylor S. Bush was born to her parents, Renee Harris and Marvin R. Bush on Saturday, January 19, 1991 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the baby sister to Tiffany and Cole Harris, she later gained a step brother, Ashaun and step sister, Ta'keyah Drumgo when her father Marvin married Nakia Drumgo. Taylor was affectionately known as “Tay Tay”. Growing up, Taylor loved to watch movies with her daddy. If someone came to visit him, she would not go to sleep until they left! Tay Tay was super close to her cousins, Deon and CJ, who would always come to her rescue in her time of need.
Taylor matriculated through Denver public schools where she was an honor student who received awards for her good grades and perfect attendance. She attended Jessie Maxwell Elementary, Martin Luther King Middle School and Montbello High School where she graduated in 2009. After graduation Tay worked in various positions including Subway for many years.
Tay Tay was the proud mother of Jomei Kaliq Johnson. Who was her true love and joy in life. Unfortunately, Jomei passed away as an infant.
Tay Tay loved to be with her cousins and truly loved all her family. Being that she was one of the oldest, she watched over her cousins and was known for her good cooking. Her grandfather, Boyce Bush taught her how to cook and how to clean chitterlings. In addition, Tay Tay, had a special relationship with her uncles, Willie Jr, Terry , David , Charles and Ronnie.
Tay Tay was known for doing creative hair styles and for giving the best hugs in the world! She loved the color green and adored dogs. She loved sharing the love of God with everyone who she came in contact with! Tay Tay was the biggest Raiders fan ever, always feuding with her father who loves the Broncos.
Tay Tay looked a lot like her late mother in her youth, but as she got older she looked like her father's twin . She loved to help her father with the yard work and anything else that needed to be done around the house. She and her father enjoyed going to the movies and out on the town to eat at new places. Her father taught her how to grill and she was very good at it! Tay Tay loved her stepmother, Nakia’s Gumbo and Nakia always made extra because she wanted her Tay Tay have much as she wanted!
She loved all her FRIENDS! There were too many to account for them all but she had a special relationship with, Carmelita , Morgan, NeNe , Kwanza, Destiny, Stanley, Kala, Auntie Bo Bo and Stephan, Shaquell, Breland, and Chabrie.
Tay Tay gave her life to Christ at a young age. She valued her relationship with the Lord very much and talked openly with others about her faith. She loved going to church with her grandparents and family, she attended All nations Church of God in Christ where she loved to give praise alongside her church colleagues. If she was not a church giving praise, she would turn on KLOVE in her car and sing for His glory.
Tay Tay was preceded in death by her mother, Renee Harris, her loving grandparents, her stepsister, Ta’keyah and her dear baby son, Jomei.
Tay Tay departed this life into the arms of her savior on Saturday August 3,2024 leaving her friends and family to remember her loving kindness.
