Tanisha Tidwell

On December 1, 1983, a beautiful baby girl was born. Tanisha Renee Tidwell was born in Denver, Colorado to Sheila Morgan and Calvin Tidwell. She was the second child and the baby of the family. She had one sister, Ebony Nicole Tidwell. As a child, she would dance, rap, and have slumber parties over her granny and papa's house with her sister Ebony and her little cousins Tanezareé and Caleb and would always love to spend the night with her other grandma Ma'T. She sung in the choir at King Baptist Church. And was always wanting to spend the night at one her classmates’ house, but always couldn't because her mom would say "I don't know them people!" She knew how to do all of the latest dance moves. Her famous move was "the snake." As a teenager, she loved to hang out with her friend and overall loved to socialize.

She was the proud mother to two wonderful children, K'Mauri Humphrey, and Marshala Rene Davis Tidwell. She was a fun, loving mother. Some of K'Mauri's fondest memories of his mother was playing video games together, listening to music, eating chicken over GG's house every Wednesday.

In her free time, she enjoyed playing dominoes, cooking, hanging with her kids, her sister Ebony, nephew Kyrell, niece Kyla, family, and her best friends: Cedra, LaTeia, Keona, Leah and Mikaya.

She will be best remembered by her friends for dancing, her laugh and making others laugh.

She departed this world on November 15, 2018, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO surrounded by family. She is survived by her son K'Mauri Humphrey, daughter Marshala Rene Davis Tidwell, mother Sheila Morgan, father Calvin Tidwell, sister Ebony Tidwell, Grandparents X.O. and Carlene Tidwell and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
