Sean Sutton

Sean Montoya Sutton was born on September 22, 1976, in Cleveland, Ohio to his parents, Herman L. Sutton, Sr. and Maryanne Campbell Sutton. He was the second child born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brother, William and his sister, Talaysia. As a child, he loved playing football with his younger brother, William. He was very fond of eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and of course, licking the spoon. Sean received his formal education by graduating from Lincoln West High School in Cleveland. While in high school, he earned honor awards for academic excellence. On January 17, 1996, Sean married Aerica Bothwell in Cleveland, OH. The couple first met while in high school. There were no children born to this union. This marriage was later dissolved but they remained close friends. On May 9, 2014, Sean united in holy matrimony to the former Alexandria Smith. They first met in Denver, Colorado. Alexandria fondly remembers their wedding day and she sending Sean on a scavenger hunt. She also fondly remembers him playing Santa Claus every year and how much they will now miss him doing so. By profession, Sean was employed with Time Warner Cable in there Customer Service Division. He was hardworking, dedicated and performed his duties with a spirit of excellence. Sean was a fun loving young man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed reading Spiderman comic books, watching movies and sports, drawing, playing video games, listening to music, playing cards and spending quality time with family and friends. His closest friends will miss his joyous personality and his ability to find humor in any situation or circumstance. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man, who leaves a void that can never be filled. To know Sean was to love him. Sean Montoya Sutton departed this life on December 17, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his loving and devoted wife, Alexandria J. Sutton of Denver; a daughter, Trenody M. Sutton of Cleveland, OH; a son, Johnothan M. Sutton of Denver; his step children, Samuel T. Hughes, Julia A. Smith both of Denver, Demetri A. Smith, Commerce City, CO, Tyler Toomer and Natayshia Toomer both of Cleveland; his father, Herman L. Sutton, Sr. of Cleveland; his mother, Maryanne Sutton of Raleigh, North Carolina; his brother, William D. Sutton of Cleveland; his sister, Talaysia E. (Charles) Sutton-Yancey of Cleveland; his grandmother, Josephine Sutton of Memphis, TN, his step granddaughter, Daa'nyla Young of Cleveland; his nieces and nephews, D'vontaye D. Bailey, Natasja C. Chapman, Razjah D. Chapman, Johnny M. Lauderdale IV, Christopher L. Yancey all of Cleveland; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.
