As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully. She made things precious by her touch; her selfless love lives on in each of us. The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none. Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end. Sarah Elizabeth Hendrix was born on April 27, 1951, in Heth, Arkansas to her parents, Eddie Lee Hendrix and Ruthie Bell Smith Hendrix. She was the third child born in the family. She was raised surrounded by her sisters, Eulla and Francis. She received her early education in Arkansas, where she graduated from high school. Sarah was the proud mother three handsome sons, Patrick, Eddie and Samuel. They remember her as a mother whose pride and joy was the care and nurture of her family. They all shared many happy and precious moments together. She was later blessed with ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, who were an additional source of joy and pride in her life. They lovingly called her "Ninne or Tee-Tee" and fondly remember all the happy and memorable moments they shared together. Sarah was employed in the health care industry for a number of years. She was hardworking, dependable and performed her duties with a spirit of excellence. A woman of faith and belief in the Lord, Sarah was a member of Our Faith Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado.
