Sandra Bell

January 3, 1946 — November 27, 2015

Sandra K. Bell, affectionately called, "Sandy," was born in Opelousas, Louisiana on January 3, 1946. She was the daughter of Cora Lee Kimble Aggison and Arthur Lee Aggison. She was raises surrounded by her siblings. Sandy accepted Christ at an early age, and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Sandy met Coleman Terry Bell, they would become inseparable while dating, and later the two would marry. They enjoyed their life together moving from California to Utah and finally making their home in Colorado. Terry loved his wife, Sandy, and to this union, two children were born, Madison, and Corey. Later, she was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who were an added source of joy. By profession, Sandy directed the John Thomas Program for Children in Compton, California. She worked for the California Urban League, and was a Counselor at Weaver State College in Ogden, Utah. She was also a beautiful clothing model for Miller Stockman. In her free time, Sandy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She will be best remembered for her skill set of interior decorating and sense of fashion. Sandy's favorite quote was, "And this too shall pass." The prayer she loved the most was "The Serenity Prayer": God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Cora Lee Aggison. Sandy Kimble Bell departed this life on November 27, 2015, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She leaves to cherish the memories her husband, Colemon Terry Bell, two children, Madison (Ian) Stewart, Corey Bell; two sisters, Evelyn (Barry) Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Linda Anderson SGM of Houston, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law; John (Jeannette) Bell, Jr., Winona (Patrick) Bell Daigle, Denise Nelson; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
