Rudolph "Rudy" George Anderson was born December 25, 1946, to his parents, George Anderson and Vivian B. Henderson-Anderson in Brooklyn, New York where he also grew up and enjoyed his childhood. Rudy attended and graduated from Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park, New York. In 1975, Rudy enlisted in the US Army and served our country for 3 years. He was honorably discharged in 1978. Rudy began working for United Stated Postal Service as a Mail Clerk, where he worked for 34 years. Rudy's co-workers remember him as being full of energy, vibrant, and very talkative with an upbeat personality. He was just an overall joy to be around. Rudy married Cheryl Ann Davenport in Denver, Colorado on March 17, 1993. From this union, one son was born, Jamal A. Anderson. Rudy was an honorary member of The Colorado Ryders Car Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping, biking and hiking. He was very devoted to eating right, fitness, and living healthy. He will be remembered by his friends for his positive energy and his devotion as a friend and father. Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian B Anderson. Rudy departed this life on June 6, 2014. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his son, Jamal A. Anderson of Denver, CO; his brothers, Robert A. (Nancy) Anderson, Gerald Anderson, Marvin Anderson, Jonas Hughie Sr.; his nieces and nephews, Kapree Brown, T'wana Valcin, Candace Hughie, Jonas Hughie Jr, Jeramiah Hughie; a host of other relatives and friends.
