Ronald Lee Ware was born on April 3, 1958 in Lubbock TX to his parents Earthel and Willie Ware Jr. around the age of 4 the family relocated to Colorado to be with his grandmother and great grandmother. Ronald, better known by his family and close friends as Dee Dee, was the 5th of 8 children and known as the protector of the family .
Ronald received his formal education in the Denver public school system, he received his GED while in Buena Vista at the age of 17. Ronald and his siblings grew up in church, and thanks to their parents were faithful members of Progressive Church of God in Christ in Denver, Colorado under the leadership of Bishop C.L. Bryant.
Ronald relocated to California and made a life for himself in 1980, he worked as a welder on a ship for a number of years. He would often come back home because he missed his family, especially his mother. As a child Ronald enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. He enjoyed fishing and camping with the family. Ronald did not have any kids of his own but had a host of nephews and nieces that he looked after like they were his own, he had a special bond with a number of them that they will forever cherish. Ronald renewed his faith in God while incarcerated and looked forward to the day he would see his family again. He received several awards and certificates to prepare for the day he came home. He loved music and would often request new song selections to listen to from family members. Ronald will be greatly missed by those closest to him.
Ronald departed this life on March 21st 2022 in San Diego California. Those left to cherish his memory are his 4 sisters, Mary Meyes, Patricia Ware and Sheila Ware all of Denver Colorado, Donna Ware of Manassa Colorado and one Brother Melvin Ware of Denver Colorado. A host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Ware Jr., his mother Earthel Ware, brothers Willie H. Ware and Andrew Ware Sr. his uncles Frank Daniels Sr. , Alvin Daniels, Melvin Daniels Jr., niece Ashley Ware and great niece Danielle ware, his nephew Darvell Ware and great nephews Nolan Ware and Byron Ware.
