Ronald (aka Ronnie) -a fourth generation Denverite. A lifelong resident of East Denver/Five Points neighborhood - He attended Denver Public Schools: Gilpin, Cole and Manual. Ronnie came from a close-knit Baptist family. The only son of the late June Brown-Lurppage and William Lurppage. His only sister is Bellverie Elaine Ross - they were raised by their loving Mother, grandmother and great grandparents.
- --Ronnie was a joyful child - who discovered MUSIC at a very young age. His whole world was MUSIC. From the mid-sixties to the early 80s, Ronnie walked throughout the Denver area with his bag of records and radio in hand.
Ronnie's wide range/detailed knowledge of MUSIC and the entertainment world is encyclopedic. He could tell you the title of the song, performer, release date and publication number all from memory. For Ronnie music was his soul, his mind, and his
imagination. Music gave LIFE to everything.
-Ronnie loved attending Manual annual picnics and would often talk "music" with his school mates. He was a survivor - who lived life - his way.
Ronnie is survived by his sister Bellverie E. Ross of Denver, three nieces,
two great nieces, a great nephew, six great grand nieces and nephews and
many dear friends ---
