Rodney Williams was the 5th child born of Royce and Elizabeth Williams, on May 22nd, 1966, in Saginaw, Michigan. Rodney was blessed to grow up with his brother, Royce and sisters, Kathy, Angela, Nicole, Lori, and Russhonia. As a child, Rodney was very jolly, always dancing and singing. He was a very talented singer and dancer and loved listening to gospel music and meeting famous gospel singers.
After graduating from Buena Vista High School in Saginaw, Michigan he became a Pharmacy Technician and Admin Clerk with Kaiser Permanente. Rodney met and married his best friend, Darryl Edwards in Denver, Colorado. They were fortunate to share 30 years beautiful years together.
In his spare time, Rodney enjoyed gardening, writing music, and dancing. His best friends, DJ & Terri Craig and Roxanne Rice will always remember his infectious laughter, sweet spirit, and warm smile. Rodney loved everyone and it was evident by the joy you felt while in his presence. He will me greatly missed.
Rodney departed his earthly body on July 18th, 2022. Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy of joy and laughter include his beloved husband, Darryl Edwards; his mother, Elizabeth Williams; his father, Royce Williams; brother, Royce Williams Jr.; sisters, Kathy Williams, Angela Williams, Nicole Williams, Lori King and Russhonia Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, chosen family, and many friends.
