Robert Earl Worley was born on September 21, 1967 in Cairo, Illinois to his parents, Thomas M. and Anna R. Worley. He was the first child born to this union. He was raised with his sister, Yaleena, in Denver, Colorado. As a child Robert enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing basketball and football. Robert was very protective of his little sister and did his best to watch over Yaleena whenever possible. When his dad was in the military, and away from the family his father let Robert know that he now was the man of the house, until he returned. This enlightened Robert and made him very proud to fill his dad's shoes. Robert attended school in the Denver Public School district, attending Montbello High School. Shortly after high school, Robert enrolled into the Job Corps in Utah. Robert completed Job Corps with the intent of using the skills learned to better his life and the life of his family. On February 24, 1990, Robert became the proud father of his only child, Aquaisha Worley. Robert returned to Denver after completing Job Corps to be near his family. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed watching sports, playing cards and being surrounded by his family and friends. Yaleena remembers her brother as being humorous, considerate, caring and often thinking of others. Robert spent most of his time living his life doing whatever brought him joy. Robert didn't allow his illness to hold him back in any way. His carefree attitude and spirit will truly be missed. Robert is preceded in death by his loving mother Anna R. Worley. Robert Earl Worley departed this life on December 24, 2016, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Aquaisha Worley of Denver, CO; his father, Thomas M. Worley of Aurora, CO; his sister, Yaleena S. Worley of Denver, CO; his nieces, Toni Rodgers of Aurora, CO and Tionna R. Denson of Denver, CO; and a host of other relatives and friends.
