Robert Earl Turner was born February 3,1967, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Pierce Leroy Turner Sr. and Mary Ann Clark-Turner. He was the first child born to this union. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, Pierce and Damian.
As a child, he enjoyed playing with his cousins because he was an only child for the first 6 years of his life. His mother remembers him as being intelligent and full of energy, he could do anything he put his mind to. He always wanted to be close to his mother.
His brother, Damian will always remember being the youngest but telling his older brother what to do. He will miss his brother popping up on him to check in.
Robert received his formal education in the Denver Public School System. He attended Manual High School.
By profession, Robert was a Painter and he did warehouse work. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work.
Robert was a member of Spiritual Mind Deliverance Church, under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Bryan Hester. He would use his gifts of help to help around the church. He had begun classes to become a Deacon.
In his free time, he enjoyed comedy and spending time with family and friends. He loved to watch football. The Denver Bronco’s was his favorite team.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Pierce Leroy Turner Sr. and a brother, Pierce Leroy Turner Jr.
Robert Earl Turner departed this life to join family and friends that preceded him in death on October 25, 2021, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his mother, Mary Ann Turner; his son,
Jamal Robert Earl Turner; his daughters, Layqua Turner, Mary Kimble (Brittney), Natalya Gardner; his grandchildren, Jamal Robert Earl Turner ll, Malea Kimble, Amiyah Kimble all of Denver; his brother, Damian Turner of Aurora, Colorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.
