Robert L. McIntosh was born on January 31, 1937 in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma. He was the fourth of ten children born to the late Leroy and Velma McIntosh. Robert graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in Coffeyville, Kansas and shortly after enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served 23 years. He served tours in Vietnam, Korea, Greece, Arizona, California, Mississippi and retired in Colorado from Lowery AFB in 1978. He continued working in his next career at Denver Wholesale Florist and retired after many years of employment. Robert was an avid Denver Broncos football and Colorado Rockies baseball fan and season ticket holder. One of his favorite past-time was bowling. He bowled in several tournaments and leagues where his all time accomplishment was scoring a perfect 300 game in his last tournament. He enjoyed his team mates and was a member of the AMF Thursday Nighters bowling league. He really enjoyed giving and helping others and diligently gave to many charitable foundations and well as his family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Clista Rozzell and Mildred Ross and three brothers, Rayford, James, and Austin McIntosh. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughter Pat Gillum of Phoenix, AZ, long time devoted friend and companion Esther Shaw of Denver, CO, wife Earmia McIntosh of Dallas, TX, two sisters Royann Thaxton (Gerald) of Detroit, MI and Mary Marshall of Coffeyville, KS, two brothers, Marion (Jimmy) McIntosh of Springfield, OH and Brent McIntosh of Aurora, CO, two grandchildren, Cortland Gillum Randolph and Mikayla Grigsby, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He touched many lives and was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone. The world is a better place as a result of his presence.
