Robert Everette Lee, Jr. was born on September 7, 1949, in Oak Grove, Louisiana to his parents, Robert E. Lee, Sr. and Juanita Gay Field. Robert was the oldest of ten children. He enjoyed the presence of his brothers, George, Benny, Raymond, Ronnie, Calvin, and his sisters, Barbara, Doris, Arlean, and Marnita. As a child, Robert's siblings remember him as a very sweet, smart, and loving child who enjoyed spending time with his father. Robert attended public schools in Oak Grove, Louisiana, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Denver, Colorado. He was the proud father of four daughters, Tynette, Unique, Latasha, and Lameeka. They were the joy of his life. They spent many memorable days together; he was later blessed with 6 grandchildren who were an added source of excitement. He was also committed in a long-term loving relationship with Ms. Frankie Morris. By profession, Robert was the Head of Concrete Layers while he worked in construction. He was employed by Colorado Construction, and Russell's Constructions (a family owned business). He was a committed and dedicated worker who took great pride in his work. In Robert's leisure time, he enjoyed laughing, cooking, listening to music, entertaining family and friends, and watching his favorite football team, "The Broncos", "Omaha-Omaha." He was known for his pretty brown eyes, and full lips. He always had an open door to those in need. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Gay Field, his father, Robert E. Lee, Sr., his brother, Benny Lee; grandparents Monroe and Terry Lee; one of his favorite cousins, Carol Y. Lee; a lifelong friend, and Diane Jenkins-Marshbank. Robert Everette Lee, Jr. departed this life on December 13, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. He leaves to cherished memories his daughters, Tynette (Keith) Robinson, Unique Marshbank, Latasha Lee , Lameeka Lee; brothers, George (Minister Renee) Lee, Raymond Lee, Ronnie Lee, Calvin Overton; his sisters, Barbara Overton, Doris Overton, Arlean Green, Marnita Rodges; sister-cousin, Belle (Larry) Mosley; his stepmother, Cleotha Lee; grandchildren, Kaleiyaa Marshbank and Tziah Robinson, LaQon Lee, LeTorion Lee-Bailey, Josiah Lee, Gary Marshbank; he was also the father figure to Shannon Thomas, Telia Holmes, and Torsan Mitchell; his lifelong friend, Pearl Marshbank; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Robert will be sadly missed and remembered by his daughters, family and many friends. "To know him is to love him"
