Robert Eugene Gallegos

Robert Eugene Gallegos, born on March 22, 1955, in Loveland, Colorado, passed away on January 13, 2025, after courageously battling cancer for many years. 

Robert, affectionately known as Bob to those close to him, was the beloved father of Allison Doe (James), Benjamin Gallegos (Erin), and Elizabeth Ellis (Johnny). He was also a proud grandfather to Atlee, Harper, Paisley, Emerson, Nolan, Madison, and Weston. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1979. As a devoted family man, Bob treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. He found immense joy in attending sporting events alongside his children and their spouses, his nieces and nephews, and grandchildren, creating lasting memories together.

He was a skilled tradesman, master plumber and worked for the State of Colorado for 28 years before retiring as a licensing inspector and also instructor. 

He was the son of Nick Sr. and Eleanor Gallegos and grew up alongside his siblings Jack Gallegos, Nick Gallegos Jr., and the late Vivian Gomez. Bob had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. 

A funeral service to honor Bob’s life will be held on January 30, 2025, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan, Colorado. 

Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. May his legacy bring comfort to all who knew him.
