Rene' J. Neal was born on November 13, 1975, in Pittsburgh, PA. Her parents Charlotte and Lindell Coulter were always proud of their only baby girl. She was the youngest of three children, her brothers Cameron and Jose' Moore treasured protecting her and teaching her the ways of childhood.
As a child, Rene' was a strong-willed, determined force of nature. She always wanted to keep up with her brothers, so much so that she cut her hair to match their style. Rene' always held her own and never backed down, especially if someone knocked her glasses off. Her childhood was filled with adventure and mischief. Some stories will never be told, and others will never be forgotten.
Rene' had two children of her own , Shilay A. Mellyn and Alonzo Marcel Neal II. The memories of their mommy are filled with her support as they did extracurriculars through school. If there was a loud voice in the stand, it was undoubtedly Rene. She supported them in anything and everything they put their mind to, even if their goals were unrealistic. She worked hard to provide a good life for them and set examples of hard work and perseverance.
Rene' worked at Kaiser Permanente for over 12 years. She especially enjoyed conducting training and education. She made many friends over the years and those who had the opportunity to work with her or spend time with her personally, are all the better for having known her.
As a member of True Praise and Worship for 12 years, Rene served in various roles, including Pastor's Aid and Bible Study Coordinator. Rene' Loved sharing her story of overcoming life obstacles with the help of God, and this was how she encouraged members of the church and family.
In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music, cooking, bible study, spending time with her loved ones, and playing with her cat, Egypt.
Rene' will be best remembered for her laugh that was contagious, her smile that enveloped her entire face, her dancing that made everyone smile, her well-coordinated cheetah print outfits, as well as her mac and cheese.
April 13, 2020, the Lord called Rene' home. She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Coulter; her father, Lindell Coulter, her brothers, Cameron (Datjaeda) Moore and Jose' Moore; her daughter, Shilay (James) Mellyn; her son, Alonzo M. Neal II; her nephew, Kirie Moore; her nieces, Josea, Shynell, and Charrann Moore, and a host of adopted sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved friends and coworkers.
Rene' would be pleased that her life lived examples would be a definite help to others. She loved everyone unconditionally and gave straight from the heart. Anyone could call her for advice or just to talk, and she'd be there. She always told everyone that God did everything for a reason and that we should put our faith and trust in Him. She was faithful and prayed constantly. She feared very little and lived ready to go home to her Father. We will all continue to celebrate her life, share her stories, retell her jokes, remember her laugh, and remember her smile.
