Renada Shontae Kelley was born on October 6, 1974 in Shreveport, LA at LSU Medical Center. She was born to Wanda F. Kelley (Franklin Wesley) of Denver, CO and Kelvin Boykins of Logansport, LA. She was first born in the family. Her brother’s names were Donald Kelley, Tency Wesley, and JJ Jones. Her sisters were Rhonda Kelley, Celeste Boykins, Amber Boykins, Shametra Boykins-Smith, Twila Boykins, Beverly Wesley, and Evangeline Williams. As a child, she enjoyed listening to music, singing and spending time with her family. Renada was educated at Logansport Rosenwald Elementary School in Logansport, LA until the age of fourteen where she moved to Denver, Colorado where she attended Manual High School. She continued her education at Emily Griffith and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Renada was the proud mother of four children, Brenten Kelley, NaJae Nuels, Kymani Kelley Keiling, and Donashi Box. Renada also had a God son, Terrell Johnson. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, Brenten, Hoover, Levi, J’Quis, Nave’Onte, Bryson, Syncere, Brayden, Marcel and Naeem. She also enjoyed watching movies and hanging out with her family. Renada worshipped at The Light of Life Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Roy Sudds. She loved the fellowship she shared with the church family. Renada was a fun-loving sweet and caring person who enjoyed life and everyone in her circle. In her free time, she enjoyed reading books, listening to music, writing, and taking pictures. She loved birds, nature and the outdoors. Renada was a very powerful, humble, loving, caring and courageous human being. Renada didn’t mind lending a hand and helping others even when she did not have it. Renada Shontae Kelley, transitioned into eternal rest on December 21, 2022. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her mother Wanda Kelley (Franklin Wesley) and father Kelvin Boykins; 2 daughters, NaJae Nuels and Donashi Box and 2 sons ,Brenten Kelley and Kymani Kelley Keiling and God son Terrell Johnson; 3 brothers, Donald Kelley, Tency Wesley, and JJ Jones; 7 sisters, Rhonda Kelley, Celeste Boykins, Amber Boykins, Shametra Boykins-Smith, Twila Boykins, Beverly Wesley, and Evangeline Williams; 10 grandchildren, Brenten, Hoover, Levi, J’Quis, Nave’Onte, Bryson, Syncere, Brayden, Marcel and Naeem; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and many friends.
