Rebecca Sue Tabb Broadway was born on June 24, 1956, in Denver, Colorado to her parents, Benjamin Tabb and Emma Mitchell Tabb. She was the fifth child born in the family. She was raised surrounded by her brothers, Michael, George, Stephen, Joseph, and her sisters, Betty and Tommie. As a child, she loved animals and she enjoyed writing. She received her formal education in Denver where she attended Garden Place Elementary, Horace Mann Junior High School, and North High School. On April 13, 1978, Rebecca united in holy matrimony to Lindall D. Broadway. They first met while attending a social gathering in Denver. To this union, 3 children were born, Christopher, Timothy and Melissa. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother whose primary duty was the care and nurture of her family. Rebecca was employed by The Arc Thrift Store in there Telemarketing Department. She was hard-working, dedicated, and performed her duties with a spirit of excellence. She was fun-loving woman, who enjoyed life and those she encircled. In her free time, she enjoyed painting and coloring. She also cherished the special time shared with family and friends. She will be missed by all who all were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful lady. To know Rebecca was to love her. She is preceded in death two sons, Christopher Broadway and Timothy Broadway; her parents, Benjamin and Emma Tabb; and two sisters, Betty Morris and Tommie Murphy. Rebecca Sue Tabb Broadway departed this life on April 6, 2017, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her husband of 38 years, Lindall D. Broadway of Aurora; 1 daughter, Melissa S. Broadway of Aurora; 4 brothers, Joe (Della) Tabb, George Tabb, Michael Tabb, and Stephen Tabb, all of Denver; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
