Raymond Eugene Martinez was born to Cathy L. Martinez and Raymond E. Washington on October 4, 1972 in Denver, Colorado. He was raised with his sister, Tosha and brothers, Jason, Torrey, Shane and Robert.
Raymond grew up on the east side of Denver where he loved roaming the streets. He was educated through Denver Public Schools where he later received his GED. He furthered his education by attending Culinary Arts school where he became a Cook and was truly a master of his craft. He gained employment at several restaurants throughout his tenure.
He enjoyed dancing, singing, playing cards, Dominoes, fishing, cooking, drawing and play fighting. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his friends Raymond and Edward. Raymond also had a love for dogs, he helped train them and was very vested in the bulldog species. e a
Those that know him best describe him as a very loyal. He was reliable and made himself available when others were in need. Although he was pretty chill, he could become fierce if you crossed him. He even gave himself the nickname Silver Back Gorilla e a
Raymond was very particular on his physical appearance, he enjoyed lifting weights, flexing his muscles and standing in the mirror. He had a smile that lit up the entire room and a laugh that was contagious.
Raymond was a man of faith who attended Real Life Christian Center. He has now joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven.
He is survived by his children, Kameron Jenkins, Raychelle Martinez and Neela Martinez, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
