Mr. Raymond Fultz, 84, passed away on January 20, 2020 at Briarwood Healthcare
Center in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Fultz was born in Prince George County, Virginia,
but lived for over fifty years in Denver.
He moved to Youngstown, Ohio in 1953 where he received his high school
diploma. He joined the U.S. Army in 1954 and obtained an Honorable Discharge in
1957. After moving to Denver, he worked and retired as a welder for a private
company for many years.
Mr. Fultz was an avid reader and read his bible daily. He loved visiting museums
and historical sites. His favorite pastimes were watching football and discussing
politics.
He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Judy Fultz; son, Anthony
Fultz and several siblings. His memories will be cherished by his son, Raymond
Fultz from Texas; brother, Leroy Fultz and wife, Dorothy and Earnest Fultz from
Petersburg, VA; sister, Louise Oakley and brother, Richard Fultz from Haverhill,
MA; sister, Virginia Barbour from South Chesterfield, VA; and a host of grandchildren,
great grands and other family members and friends, among them devoted
friends, Ms. Cora Wallace, Mr. Willie Wallace and Mr. Henry McCoy, all of
Denver.
