Randi Christine Porter - Johnson

Randi Christine Porter was born in Denver Colorado on May 29th 1960 to Ralph and Carolyn Porter. She was the second of four Children, an older brother Ralph, and two younger Brothers Gent, and Frank.

Randi attended Denver Public Schools and Graduated from George Washington High School. After Graduation she moved into her own Apartment and worked two jobs to support herself and purchase a Volks Wagon, which she referred to as her Bug.

During this time she met Steven Johnson they were Engaged and later married. Steven was in the Military and they Traveled to different Bases. They were sent to Layton, Utah where they purchased a house. Randi was on the Baseball team and was active in other Base activities. Randi and Steven didn’t have children, They had two dogs, Sadie and Abby which they referred to as their Girls. Abby, and Sadie were cherished by them and treated like family members.

Their Marriage didn’t last, however, She decided to stay in Layton and started working at The University of Utah where she was employed till her death. She also worked for Lowes, Home Depot, and Whole Foods.

Randi liked fixing things and gardening Her yard was picturesque.

She was an outdoorsy person who enjoyed Biking and Hiking. When I would tell her to be careful and that she was in my prayers

She would say how thankful she was and that god had a guardian Angel watching over her. She leaves us to cherish her memory,

Her brothers Ralph, Gent, and Frank, Aunt’s Jerry, and Norma,

Frank’s wife Dawn, Nieces, Kayla and Lexus many cousins and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her Mother, Father and Grandparents.
