She was the 12th of 13 children in her family. She was raised surrounded by her older brothers and sisters. Queen received her formal education by attending Howardsville High School in Howardsville Missouri. Queen was a faithful member of the Sixteenth Street Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Elder Westley Scott. She always kept her faith in the Lord. Queen met and married Robert Pride "RT". Together, they brought into this world five children, Robert "Wayne", Christopher "Tony", Corinza "Tiny", Wanda "Ruby" and Kristie "Sugar Foot". Queen moved with her family to Denver, Colorado in 1976. She later received her Certified Nursing Assistant License and was employed at Stovall Care Center for 27 years. In 1980 Queen became a single parent, raising her five children the best way she could. She loved to cook, keeping her southern ways.
