OBITUARY
Patsy Ruth Mack
Patsy Ruth Mack born on July 15, 1940, in Paris, Texas to Katie L. Burns. She grew up with her younger sister Doris, later her sister Linda was born into the family. Edward Simpson raised her as his own from the age of seven.
Throughout her life, Patsy had the support of her loving grandmother Big Mama Mary Burns as well as her cousin Betty Jean and uncle Chester Lee Burns who played significant roles during her formative years. Their guidance helped shape Patsy into the compassionate person she became.
Patsy attended Paris, Texas Public School before later receiving her GED from Emily Griffin Opportunity School. Her education provided a foundation for her career as a Home Health Aide. Patsy's hard work and dedication were admired by both her coworkers and clients alike.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Patsy had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing delicious meals for family and friends. Burritos were one of her specialties, and she found joy in the company of loved ones as they shared food and stories together.
In addition to being an exceptional cook, Patsy also enjoyed watching soap operas, particularly "The Young and the Restless." She found solace in following the dramatic lives of the characters on screen. Card games brought her entertainment as well, providing opportunities for friendly competition and laughter. Music was another source of joy for Patsy as she appreciated its ability to uplift the spirit.

Patsy is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon K. Mack; her parents, Katie and Edward Simpson
Patsy Ruth Mack, a loving mother, devoted companion, and cherished friend, passed away on January 15, 2024, in Denver, Colorado .She will be deeply missed by her surviving companion .George D. Mitchell; her children, Billy W. Braxton, Michael R. Mack and Patricia Mack; she is also survived by her sisters,, Doris M. Johnson and Linda Simpson Floyd; grandson Justin Mack; grandaughter, Shameka McBoat, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives,.
