Patrick James Parker was born on September 9, 1963, to his parents of James and Patsy Parker in Hobbs, New Mexico. Patrick enjoyed his youth surrounded by his brothers, Chris and Derick; and his sisters, Tanya, and Meshelle. Patrick's family and friends lovingly nicknamed him, "Ricky." Growing up, Ricky attended public schools in Denver, Colorado, where he participated in team sports, such as basketball and football. He also enjoyed his association and friendship with the Boyz, "Boy's Club." These were very fun times for Ricky. Ricky met Roxie Washington, and after a period of dating, they were married. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Nykala. The family shared many happy and precious moments together. Later, Ricky was blessed with one granddaughter, Gabby. What a wonderful gift from God to have a daughter and a granddaughter. As a profession, Ricky worked as a general laborer, assisting carpenters and cement finishers. Assisting friends with odd jobs brought Ricky much happiness to his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and being part of charitable activities with the Boyz. Ricky was preceded in death by his brother, Derick Parker. Patrick James "Ricky" Parker departed this life on January 9, 2016, in Denver, Colorado.
