Norma Hart

Norma Corine Hart was born November 3, 1951 to Norman and Corine Davis Bridgewaters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Norma was an only child. She attended parochial school and received her early education at Saint Ann’s Catholic School and went on to graduate High School from Judge Memorial Catholic High School.in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1969. Norma continued her education and attended Loretta Heights College earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music in 1976. She was also a member of the Mu Phi Epsilon Music Sorority. In 1972, Norma married Ebenezer Awuah and a son, Clifford was born to that union in 1973. Norma was the proud mother of four children and loved spending time with them. In December, 1988 Norma united in Holy Matrimony to Reggie Delbert Hart in Aurora, Colorado. The family shared many memories and precious moments together. She worked at many occupations but was most recognized at her employment with Holly Heights Nursing Home as the Head Chef and Dietician. She was known for her hard work, dedication and her commitment to excellence. As a child, Norma attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. In 2006 she joined Christ’s Church Apostolic in Aurora, Colorado and became a member of the Praise Team where she loved lifting her voice and giving God praise. Norma loved life and was a fun loving woman who enjoyed playing Bingo, Pokeeno, and going to the hills (Casinos). She spent time with friends and watching her favorite team play (Denver Broncos). She will be remembered for her great smile and loving and giving spirit. Norma departed this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018 surrounded by her twin daughters Jeanetta and Jeanette along with First Lady Tina Combs. Norma was preceded in death by her father, Norman Bridgewaters and mother, Corine Davis Bridgewaters. Those left to cherish her memory include her oldest daughter, Wendy, son, Clifford Lanell Awuah, Jeanette B. Young and Jeanetta Bridgewaters along with her 5 grandchildren, Jazmine Bridgewaters, Tyshion Johnson, Taniya Mills, Jeremiah Mills, and Avah Hunter.
