Nickolas Williams

April 13, 1981 — March 12, 2015

Nickolas Paul Williams was born April 13, 1981 to Marlon T. Williams and Roxanne Burrell Williams. He was the first child born of this union. Two years later, Marisa was born, then 11 months later Erin was born to this union. When Nick was six, two children came into this family, Jonathon "Greg" and Kishawne "Shawna)" Britt, which gave him an older brother and sister. Nick, a very personable and loving young man, enjoyed being with his friends and family, especially his older brother Greg and his cousins Brigitte, Christopher and Jeffery. Whenever he could, he would go where they would go. Nick treated no one as a stranger! Growing up, Nick had an opportunity to sing with his church choir that was the opening act at one of Sinbad's comic show, "Son of A Preacher Man". It thrilled him to no end and you knew he was there because you could see his smile. Nick was talented and loved to draw and paint. He was a very good free form artist and only stopped his artistry because the pains in his hands would no longer allow him to follow his passion. He always had a smile for you, even when circumstances were not the best. He dealt with issues, medical or otherwise with his head held high and strong faith in his heart. He was an optimist as pure as they came. No matter what he was going through, Nick always had kind words to say. His family will miss him greatly but as Nick would say, "Stay strong, smile. I will always love you." [We know where we will get the strength to keep going on and that we are never alone, it's remembering that fact, even in a crowd of people that eludes us sometimes]. On Thursday March 12, 2015, God brought Nick home to be with Him. Quietly, Nick obediently answered and followed God's call. Nickolas' memory will be forever cherished by his loving parents, Jonathon "Greg" Britt, (Brother), Kishawne Britt (Antoine), Marisa & Erin Williams (Sisters); Grandparents Louie & Mary Lewis; Genevieve (Aunt Bunny) Smith (Great Aunt); Chrystal Burrell Luster (Jimmie) Aunt & Uncle; Kendall Spivey (Uncle), Dana L. Lewis (Aunt), Cousins Brigitte (Daniel) Hinton, Christopher (Mandy) Bishop, Jeffery Bishop, Harlon Byrd. Special people in life; Alma Harris; Sonja (Mayfield) Williams &Valerie (Britt) Umberger. Many other family, and friends.
