On April 8, 1927, Odrey Lee, was born in Estelline, Texas, to her loving parents Rosa Lee and Arthur Hodge. She occupied a special place in the family, being the only daughter of four children born into this family. Odrey grow up in a strong Christian family who loved the Lord and trained their children to serve God.

As a young child Odrey, developed a command for language. She was very articulate in her speech as well as the way she carried herself. When she was seven, she was with her grandmother, who worked for the mother of actor Zachery Scott. Mrs. Scott was so impressed with Odrey maturity and grace that she hired her to be a nanny/companion to her grand-daughter, Wavery Ann. She felt Odrey's style of speech and behavior would be a positive influence on Wavery. When Odrey had an opportunity to attended Holiness School in Lexington, TX. Mrs. Scott continued to send Odrey money to encourage her to continue pursuing excellence.

The family relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1941. She met her future husband, Lawrence Robinson, at Wayside Church Of God In Christ. They were quite taken with each other and they both were committed to the work of the church. They were married in 1942 at which time she postponed her education to fulfill her duties as a wife. To this union four children were born, Lawrence Jr., twins, Leon Leslie and Leona Marie, and Arthur. She returned to school and earned her diploma from West High School in 1948.

Serving God, living a life pleasing in his sight and sharing Gods love was the theme of Odrey life. She taught her children by example. Education was a core value that she not only talked about but demonstrated. After her last child finished high school, she went back to school and earned her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Metropolitan State College in 1965.

Church and family was the center of life for the Robinson's. The whole family participated in revival's, visiting the sick, worship services, and Bible Studies. Odrey was well respected in the church and was a District Missionary. She was a Church Mother at Infinite Life Center under the leadership of her late son, Pastor Leon L. Robinson. She was a woman of many gifts. She was smart, creative, and she loved to read. She enjoyed cross word puzzles. She crocheted mittens and hats for her grandchildren at Christmas. Reading, sewing, and gardening were all ways that she used and shared her gifts. She was a wonderful, faithful, dedicated women of God.

In 1958 Odrey began her career at the City and County of Denver. She worked as a Vehicle Registration Clerk for the Motor Vehicle Division for 20 years. She also worked to the State of Colorado for three years in Human Resources. She was known for the way she spoke with authority yet she was kind and efficient.
Odrey departed her earthly body to dwell for an eternity with her creator on July 13, 2019. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Rosa Lee and Arthur Hodge; her sons Lawrence Jr. and Leon Leslie Robinson. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Leona M. (Lee) Houston and Arthur Eugene Robinson of Denver, CO; 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 19 great great-grandchildren; four god-children, Rayfield and Victoria Kelly, Sty Shaver and Wynona Wright, other relatives, her church family and beloved friends
