Michael H. Shaw

Michael Harold Shaw was born October 15, 1982, in Denver, Colorado to Myco Andrews and Arletha Shaw. Michael was the baby of the family. He was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, and generous spirit.

Michael graduated from Colorado Department of Education with his High School Equivalency Diploma on May 18, 2009, and earlier on he earned a Certificate degree in Bartending College in 2002. He married his wife, Jasmine Laster, on December 17, 2015. Together, they were raising four wonderful boys.

Michael had a distinguished career as a stockman at Amazon and was deeply involved in his local community as a youth coach. He loved  trading stock, producing music, and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his loving mother, Arletha Shaw.

At the tender age of 41, Michael passed away peacefully at his home on November 24, 2023.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jasmine Laster; children, Ka’Vaughn Shaw, Ze’Quan Shaw, Dayshon Shaw, Prince Shaw; Siblings, Nakeisha Andrews, Manny Shaw, Ivan Gonerway, and Malika Shaw. Nieces, Nautica Shaw, Viola Clark, Nakiya Shaw-Clark, Nayoki Shaw-Clark; Nephew, Joshawn Shaw-Clark. Best Friends, Aaron Kelly, and Adrne Steel. A host of loving Aunts and Uncles.

Michael's warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to knew him.
