Michael Caine Rowland was born on September 29, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana to his parents, Shirlie Rowland and Carolyn D. Smith Rowland. He was the fifth child born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brother, Anthony and his sisters, Denice, LaDonna, Tanya and Shuanita. He received his formal education in Indiana, where he attended the Indianapolis Public School System. Michael eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado. He met Janette Rowland. Janette remembers Michael as jovial and having a warm personality. They shared many happy and precious moments together. By profession, Michael was employed by Home Depot in its Sales Division. He is remembered as being hard-working, dedicated and performing all his duties with a spirit of excellence. Michael was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed drawing, fishing and spending quality time with family and friends. His closest friends, Artie Dumas and Steve Carrethers will miss the camaraderie they all shared together and the fact that he was a true and genuine friend. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this one of a kind guy. To know Michael was to love him. Michael Caine Rowland departed this life on January 19, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his wife, Jeanette K. Rowland of Aurora; three sisters, LaDonna S. Carrethers, Tanya M. (Luther) Baker and Shuanita (Robert) Dycus all of Indianapolis, IN and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.
