He was later blessed with four grandchildren, Amberly, Robert, Jasmine, Anastasia, and one great granddaughter, Avaya Johnson; who all were an additional source of joy and pride in his life. They too shared many happy and memorable moments together. One that stands out the most was the fact that he loved the Christmas season. They fondly remember putting up the Christmas tree together on Michael's birthday which was December 4th , watching football, and playing dominoes with him. By profession, Mack was employed in Hotel Hospitality for a number of years. He was employed by the Hyatt Regency. He has worked for the Loews Hotel as well the Waffle House. Wherever employed Mack was hard-working, dedicated and performed all his duties with a spirit of excellence. A man of faith and belief in the Lord, Mack has been a member of Good Shepherd Baptist for the past year and one half. He joined the church under the Pastoral leadership of Reverend Matthew Sims. He truly enjoyed his walk with the Lord and the fellowship shared with his church family. Mack was a fun loving man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports television, attending the games when he could and watching western shows on television. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man whose smile would light any room he entered. He was also a man, who never met a stranger.
