Michael Marshall

May 10, 1965 — November 20, 2015

Michael Lee Marshall was born on May 10, 1965, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Hattie Lee Black and John Lauis Marshall. They were blessed with their fifth and last child, which made their family complete. As the baby of the family, Michael was raised surrounded by his sisters, Brenda and Joyce; and his brothers, Rodney, and John. As a child, he loved playing with his brothers and sisters and going to watch Bruce Lee movies with his childhood friend, Jay Johnson. Afterwards, they would pretend to do Karate on one another. Michael was a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle. In his free time, he loved being with his family and friends. Whenever there was a family get-together, Michael was there and was always willing to lend a hand in any way needed. Michael was also a very giving person. He never had a problem offering you a ring, a hat or anything; he had on him at that time. Michael was a man of faith with a strong belief in the Lord. He always had a scripture and a song whenever he called. When his nieces and nephews were younger, Michael would take them to different churches throughout the Denver Metro area. In his free time, Michael loved listening to music, singing, dancing and drinking coffee at the Network Coffee House with his friends, Ryan, Gerry, Faye, Johnny, and Emily. He also enjoyed being with his good friend, Joyce. Michael was a wonderful person with a beautiful smile. He will be missed by all who were blessed enough to have known him. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie Lee Black and John Lauis Marshall; his sister, Joyce Marshall. Michael Lee Marshall departed this life on November 20, 2015, in Denver, Colorado with his family by his side. He leaves to cherish his memory and to mourn his loss his siblings, Brenda Elizabeth MarshallWright, Rodney Lauis(Ann) Marshall, John Lynn Marshall, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
