Melissa Jo Clifford-Johnson, born on August 13th, 1976, in Denver, Colorado, to Sandra Clifford and Albert Johnson, passed away on April 27th, 2024. Melissa known for her adventurous spirit and love for travel, often embarking on road trips with a particular fondness for visiting Vegas.
Throughout her life, Melissa wore many hats, with teaching being a significant role where she empowered others to learn and excel independently. Among her various occupations, she cherished working as a mechanic and a hairstylist.
Melissa was a devoted mother to Oriana Clifford-Johnson-Doage, a loving daughter to Sandra Clifford, a treasured sister to Clifford Clifford-Johnson, and a loyal friend to Kimba Blaylock and Dedrick. Her warm personality and infectious laughter endeared her to everyone she met.
Remembered for her kindness, generosity, and spirited nature, Melissa touched the lives of many with her joyful presence. She is survived by her mother Sandra Clifford-Johnson; daughter Oriana Phoenix Lorraine Clifford-Johnson; grandchildren Mya Joyce Lorraine Ausbie, Oriiah Luv Phoenix Ausbie, Torrien Michael Antene (Anthony) Bailey, Tori-Aiyonna Denise Delayne Bailey; Oriyonn-Wilbur X'zander (Zander) Shaw Clifford-Doage; Ovieyonce-Omaje Jaseyonn Uriah Clifford-Doage; adopted son Shawn; brother Clifford Clifford-Johnson; numerous siblings; dear friends Kimba Blaylock and Dedrick; as well as her extended family and friends.
