Maurice Johnson-Broadway

Maurice Andre Johnson-Broadway, born February 3, 1991 in Shreveport, Louisiana was the third born to of Odessa Broadway and Maurice Johnson. His brothers include Edward Broadway, Roddrick Broadway (deceased), and sisters, Maurissa Broadway, Shamarea Broadway, and Keuner Watson. Graduating from Overland High School in 2009, Maurice's first love was baseball but he also enjoyed football, basketball, and kept an undefeated track record receiving numerous awards. He also relished music and adored spending time with his family and close friends. His children, O'ryiah Monae Aurora Broadway (4 years old), fondly called Princess, and his son O'Mari Maurice Broadway (7 months old), fondly called Puppy, gave his life new meaning. Maurice had an infectious smile that warmed many and his memory will forever be cherished. Maurice Andre Johnson Broadway departed this life to embrace the Lord on November 14, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and morn his loss include his loving and devoted partner Tyshanae (Nani) Ferguson of Aurora, his daughter O'ryiah Moane Aurora of Aurora; son O'Mari Maurice of Aurora. His mother Odessa Broadway of Shreveport La; his father Maurice Johnson of Denver; two sisters Maurissa of Ft Collins; Shamarea of Shreveport, La. Two brothers, Edward Broadway of Shreveport, La, and Roddrick Broadway (deceased). A wide host of family in Shreveport, Louisiana and relatives in Colorado, and many, many, many friends. Maurice's infectious smile and love for life and people will be greatly missed.
