Margie Lee Davis-Jackson was born into the loving arms of her parents, Claude Hall and Rosie Mae Black - Hall on January 20, 1950, in Ringgold, Louisiana. She was the sixth of nine children born into this family. Margie was a fun-loving girl who enjoyed being with family. Margie went to grade school in Ringgold, Louisiana; however, she attended high school and college in Houston, Texas. In 1960, Margie met the love of her life, Edward Davis. They were later married and to this union came two children, Monique, and Simone Davis. In the 1990’s, the family relocated to Denver, Colorado. Family was always Margie’s priority. Later, she was blessed with two grandchildren, Da-Aushena and Shalayah. They remember, “Granny,” as they lovingly called her, taking them shopping, watching movies, and cooking together for the holidays. Margie worked for the Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center for 23 years in the Housekeeping Department. Margie always showed up to work and put in her hours with a smile on her face. Her co-workers enjoyed the love and joy she shared with them. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Hall and Rosie Mae Hall; her sister, Thelma Adkins; and brothers, James Hall, Fraser Hall, Blu Hall, and Booker T. Hall. Margie Lee Davis-Jackson departed this life peacefully on April 20, 2018. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Monique McCoy and Simone Davis; two grandchildren, Da-Aushena McCoy and Shalayah Davis; two brothers, Cookie Hall and Keiger Hall; and one sister, Margie Ruth; along with a host of nieces, nephews, beloved relatives and dear friends
