Margaret Louise Taylor was born Margaret Louise McIntosh on March 5, 1948, in Leavenworth, Kansas to Hazel Marie Thornton and SGT McIntosh. Even though Margaret was the only child, she was raised surrounded by her first cousins, Veda Marion, Cheri, Jean Marie, Yvonne "Vonnie" and Leland Jr. aka "Little Brother." Margaret was nicknamed after her aunt Margaret "Pat" Busey, so everyone lovingly called Margaret, "Pat." Raised in the Pentecostal Church of the Apostolic Faith, Pat accepted Christ at an early age. Margaret attended the Denver Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Social Work. She went on to obtain her undergraduate degree and her Master's Degree in Psychology from the Metropolitan State College. Pat united in holy matrimony on August 15, 1966 to SSGT Robert B. Taylor and they were blessed with two daughters, Tracy and Tiffany "Rookie". She was a proud mother who shared her love for cooking, reading, writing, music, and the performing arts with her girls. She was later blessed with five grandchildren, Kevonn, Anthony, Audrianna, Kieyasha, and Sarai. She enjoyed traveling to visit them all when she could. By profession, Pat worked in her earlier years as a Daycare Director. She then went on to work in the health field working as a LPN at Manor Care Health of Denver and later at Fitzsimons Veterans Home where she retired. Pat loved to dance her heart out and host social events. She was known for her cooking from miles around, so much, she would sell Sunday dinners every week out of her home. She also enjoyed macrameing elaborate hanging baskets and other decorative home accessories which she also sold for many years. Pat is preceded in death by her dear mother, Hazel Thornton; her father, SGT McIntosh; her granddaughter, Kieyasha Taylor-McNeal; her favorite uncles, Retired SGT Robert Johnson, and James Johnson. Margaret L. Taylor "Pat" earned her wings on December 11, 2014, in Glendale, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her daughters, Tracy Taylor of Providence, Rhode Island, Tiffany Taylor of Tomball, TX; 4 grandchildren, Anthony Taylor, Audrianna Taylor both of Providence Rhode Island, Kevonn Taylor of Houston, TX , Sarai Carter of Tomball, TX; 1 Aunt, Alpha Thomas "Aunt Tommy Thomas"; 1 Uncle, Retired SGT Wilbert Johnson "Uncle Bud"; Her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Robert B. Taylor; Her son-in-law to be, Henry F. Gentry; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. ~You are gone but not forgotten. Although we're now apart, God has you for his keeping, but we'll hold you in our hearts. Rest in Peace
