The sun rose on the life of Mr. Marcus Miguel “Pooh” Harris. Marcus was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 15, 1972 to Gail Harris & Michael Harris. He was the first of three children. Marcus had one brother, Brian Harris and one sister, La Shawn Harris. Marcus was a sweet loving child, brother and friend. The love he showed family, friends and even strangers was extraordinary. Marcus accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal savior at an early and though he didn't always attend church, he read his bible daily and memorized bible scriptures.
When the family relocated to Denver, Marcus attended George Washington High School. He was gifted in running track as well as disciplined in his participation in ROTC. He also attended ITT Technical College but due to his growing family he did not finish his degree.
Marcus had a great sense of humor. He has an uncanny ability to imitate Sha-nay-nae and dancing around like Carlton from the Prince of Bel-Air. His imitations were a source of delight to family and friend, always leaving a smile on their faces.
On April 12, 2019 Marcus Miguel “Pooh” Harris passed from this life to eternal rest. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Davon, LaTaysha, Marquise, DeShawn, Londyn & Javone Harris.
