Marcia Louise Brown Hydleburg was born on December 20, 1946, in Denver, Colorado to her parents, Wilton Brown, Sr. and Alma Jean Brown. She received her formal education in Denver, where she attended Smedly and Harrington Elementary, Smiley Jr. High School and she graduated from Denver East High School in 1964. Marcia was a hard working person who worked in an office environment. She started working as Credit Manager for General Electric Credit Corporation in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She later became employed as a Human Resource Assistant for the Denver Public Library. She remained in that position for sixteen years and retired. Marcia was a quick study, what seemed complex to some, came easy for her. She was an avid reader; she could finish what seemingly were thick novels in one sitting. She also loved listening to music. She had an formidable collections of 45's and L.P.'s that she had collected since her early teens. She enjoyed playing bid whiz, dominoes, chess and many board games. She also enjoyed watching X-Files, game shows and movies. Marcia shared a special closeness with her younger siblings. She was a second mother to them. She was a confidante, a non-judgmental advisor and she was loyal to all her family and friends. Marcia united in holy matrimony to David Hydleburg on January 10, 1969, in Denver, Colorado. They shared many happy and precious moments together. David preceded her in death on April 18, 2007. Once Marcia retired from the Denver Library System, she relocated to East Texas where she became the care giver of her late aunt. She assumed the duties and responsibilities admirably. She did so diligently, that she was commissioned by another family to care for their elderly relative. Marcia will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful lady. To know Marcia was to love her. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Wilton Gene Brown.
