Marc Anthony Scott Obituary
Marc Anthony Scott was born on October 22, 1974 to his parents Arthur and Lillian Scott. He was the youngest of two children. He entered eternal rest on October 7, 2020 at the age of 45. A 1993 graduate of Aurora Central High School in Aurora, Colorado. Marc was an Army Veteran serving in Germany and Bosnia. Upon his honorable discharge he spent 5 years in the U.S Army reserves and went on to earn three degrees at Metro State University in Denver.
After college Marc received an internship to work with the Federal Government and worked his way up the ladder. Most recently he had accepted a position as a Supervisor with ONRR. While working at the Federal Center Marc started volunteering with Urban Peak, which is a youth center that provides a full convergence of services for youth ages 15 through 24 experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. He enjoyed being able to do his part and giving back to the community.
Marc had a love of sports. He enjoyed everything from football to UFC. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing basketball with his work league, running various 5k’s, biking, watching sporting events on tv, and so much more. Marc loved all Denver sports teams but by far the Denver Broncos were his favorite. No matter the weather he enjoyed attending as many games as he could with his family and friends.
Marc was a devoted husband and loving father who would do anything to make his wife and son smile. He loved spending time with family and friends and had a passion for travel and trying new foods. Many knew him to be a true “foodie”. He brought a positive energy with him wherever he went and was always smiling. He had a lust for life and lived every moment to its fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Scott, their son, Cameron Scott, his parents, Arthur and Lillian Scott, his sister, Angelique Evans, numerous other family members and many friends.
